The Keiki Playhouse has opened in Kahului as an indoor playground and funhouse for children 1 to 10 years old, with an attached retail store, according to an announcement.
Located at 427 Ala Makani St., the playhouse offers keiki activities ranging from a soft play area for babies and toddlers to the “awesome adventures on the Jolly Robert Pirate Ship in Rion’s Cove.”
The owners have created an indoor village for interactive play.
“In this little town, you will find Lela’s Garden, the KP Grocery Store, the Paniolo Pizzeria, Dr. Johnson’s Vet Clinic, Lucas’ Hot Rod Shop and the Enchanted Castle Slide,” according to the announcement. “Around the town is a small highway to drive little trikes and bikes. There is also a large water table play area and party area.”
Admission is $15 per child, $10 for adults. Party space is available for groups as large as 24. There’s a limited child drop-off service for one to three hours. Reservations are recommended.
