She starred as “Rudy Huxtable” in the NBC sitcom The Cosby Show (1984-92), and as “Miranda Lucas-Payne” in Tyler Perry‘s House of Payne (2007-12). Her parents, Denise and James, served as her business manager. She has two brothers, James II and Mshon. Knight Pulliam attended Foxcroft School followed by Spelman College. Knight Pulliam’s rise to stardom began at 8 months old. Her first notable gig was a print ad appearance for Johnson & Johnson. Several other advertising campaigns followed. Her television debut came at age 3 on the children’s program Sesame Street. In 1984, Knight Pulliam landed her breakout role as “Rudy Huxtable” on ‘The Cosby Show’ starring Bill Cosby. Next, she appeared in Beauty Shop (2005) with Queen Latifah, and The Gospel (2005) with Boris Kodjoe.
