She's best known for her role as Norma Louise Bates in horror TV series, Bates Motel, but actress Vera Farmiga looked anything but scary when she stepped out on Monday.
The 40-year-old actress signed autographs for waiting fans after her appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman in New York City.
Wearing a Mad Men inspired retro look, the actress looked incredible in a lilac two-piece which consisted of a fitted peplum jacket and matching pencil skirt.

Bates Motel is a modern-day prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho and gives a portrayal of how Norman Bates' (Freddie Highmore) psyche unravels through his teenage years.

Vera plays his mother in the series, which is filmed in Vancouver, and she has a deeply intricate relationship with her son who is to become a future serial killer.
Luckily, in real life, Vera and Freddie are close and he's godfather to her 5-year-old son, Fynn, from her marriage to Renn Hawkey. The couple also have a three-year-old daughter called Gytta.
Farmiga herself is one of seven children and her younger sister Taissa, 19, is also in the acting profession, playing Zoe Benson in cult TV series, American Horror Story.
